Enabling innovative partnerships is one of the main UN.GIFT areas of work. UN.GIFT will continue to work with the private sector in establishing cooperation and coordination mechanisms between business and other anti-human trafficking stakeholders. 

 

UN.GIFT's Business partners

Beulah London is a luxury fashion brand that has a heart for social justice. The corporate philosophy behind the brand is to provide an alternative livelihood and new life to victims who have been rescued from the sex trade. The founders of Beulah London have contributed to UN.GIFT e-learning tool on human trafficking for the private sector.
In 2009 The Body Shop launched a 3-year strategic campaign in partnership with  ECPAT. This was the first campaign of its kind between a major cosmetics company and an international network of local NGOs to combat human trafficking. The Body Shop also contributed to the UN.GIFT/EHTN e-learning tool on human trafficking for the priavte sector.

Carlson's Chairman, Marilyn Carlson Nelson was awarded the first Business Leaders Award for her fight against trafficking in 2010. The Carlson Group will present UN.GIFT's  eLearning Tool during its upcoming Global Business Conference.

In 2004, Carlson was the first major North American hospitality company to sign The Code. The Code has been developed as a Corporate Social Responsibility tool for tourism businesses that seeks to mobilize the tourism industry to protect children at risk of exploitation and report offenders.

The Hilton Vienna Hotel became a UN.GIFT partner in 2010. The Hilton Hotel agreed to disseminate educational leaflets on human trafficking, at the Hilton Vienna Hotel for its patrons and other travellers, translated into 6 languages (German, English, Russian, Italian, French and Arabic). Personnel from the Hilton Vienna will undertake regular awareness training on human trafficking, and training to assist in identifying potential victims.

Manpower contributed to the content of the UN.GIFT/EHTN e-learning tool

Microsoft Middle East & Africa sponsored the UN.GIFT/ EHTN e-learning tool for the private sector and supports the dissemination of the tool

Second Chance Employment Services is the only employment agency in the world providing placement services for victims of human trafficking and domestic violence, thereby leading these women to true economic and physical freedom. Second Chance provides training and employment assistance to women of all nationalities and in numerous languages.  Second Chance became a UN.GIFT partner in 2011 and contributed to the e-learning tool on human trafficking for the private sector.
