4th Annual Northwest Coalition Against Trafficking Conference

The Northwest Coalition Against Trafficking ( NWCAT) is a coalition of many agencies, political leaders, community organizations, individuals, media and business supporters throughout the Northwest region of the United States. The coalition works to inform, educate, and protect women and children from human trafficking around the world. In January 2012 NWCAT will be holding its fourth annual conference on trafficking, as well as a film festival in Portland, Oregon.


The conference will focus on prevention, education, and action to help prevent and protect victims of exploitation and trafficking. In addition to the film festival, the conference will offer breakout sessions and trainings, a variety of presenters and keynote speakers, a silent auction and much more.


Keynote speakers include, but are not limited to, Oregon State Attorney General, John Kroger, CNN HERO and founder of Friends of Maiti Nepal, Anuradha Koirala , Kristen Anderson from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, attorney and policy advocate, Beth Klein, United States Senator, Ron Wyden, and international investigative reporter, Amber Lyon.
