PSA aims to raise awareness about human trafficking in US

United States Customs and Immigration Enforcement is running a radio public service announcement (PSA) campaign this week to raise awareness about human trafficking.

The PSA is part of the Hidden in Plain Sight campaign, which was launched in 2009 to highlight the plight of human trafficking victims in the United States. The latest radio segment explains that victims of trafficking are forced into a broad spectrum of exploitation.

"I have been forced or coerced into prostitution, domestic servitude, or other types of labor," explain a chorus of voices in the radio PSA.

The ad will run on 24 English and 19 Spanish language radio stations in select cities, including: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Buffalo, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, El Paso, Honolulu, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Saint Paul, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, San Juan, Seattle, Tampa, and Washington.
