UN.GIFT Small Grants Facility
Call for Project Proposals 2010
In order to support CSOs in their counter-trafficking activities, the United Nations Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking (UN.GIFT) has established a Small Grants Facility. A total amount of USD 500,000 will be disbursed to selected CSOs.
Project activities eligible for funding include:
1. Direct victim support
2. Empowerment of vulnerable groups and communities
3. Cooperation between non-governmental organizations from countries of origin and destination
4. Collection of evidence-based knowledge
Through the Call for Proposals, a total amount of USD 500,000 will be disbursed to Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
Size of the grants:
Minimum amount: USD 30,000
Maximum amount: USD 50,000
As stated in the guidelines, applicants will be notified after project proposals have been evaluated.
