Safe and Alive is a non-profit humanitarian organization that offers victims of human trafficking protection. It is the primary objective of SAFE AND ALIVE to establish safe houses where victims can get medical, psychological, social and judicial help. SAFE AND ALIVE also offers each victim an individually targeted rehabilitation plan, including education and employment opportunities. |

The Ewa'a Shelter in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was established in 2008 and became operational in January 2009. It provides temporary shelter for up to 30 women and children victims of human trafficking and offers psychological, medical, and legal assistance as well as support in rehabilitation. Other projects the Ewa'a Shelter staff are working on include a website and a multilingual hotline, through which women can contact the shelter. |
