Partners

A large number of UN entities, international and non-governmental organizations, businesses, civil society and academic groups, as well as committed individuals, address different aspects of human trafficking. People and groups acting alone, and operating within national or local borders, can have only a limited impact on preventing and fighting trafficking. Combining the different efforts and resources of all stakeholders into a coherent strategy would make responses stronger and more focused.

UN.GIFT provides the framework for coherent and comprehensive joint action by linking those who work to eradicate trafficking, and optimizing existing campaigns and action plans. It also provides the means by which new partnerships can be formed and existing partnerships can be strenghtened and consolidated.
