'Breaking the Silence' on human trafficking with a short film festival
9 July 2010.- The International Understanding Day Film Festival 2010 themed Breaking the Silence is organized by the Interact Club of Sri Aman. The organization from Malaysia chose the theme to launch a short film festival to raise awareness about human trafficking.
On 16 June 2010, videos from around the world will be showcased to encourage understanding of human trafficking as a global issue. In particular, the event is targeting youth and it aims to spark support in the community for organizations working to raise awareness about human trafficking.
